To work in a highly trained dedicated Team to support Residents (6) on a 1:1 or 2:1 bases that have complex needs in terms of autism and learning disabilities.  Ensuring a safe, secure and happy home for the residents

The role includes:

• Responsibility for the effective induction of new residents and the effective management of residents who depart
• Liaise with parents/carers, Healthcare professionals and Local Authorities as appropriate
• Responsible for providing high quality input into care plans for residents to ensure the care meets their needs and develops them as individuals
• Excellent Team Player to ensure the Team reaches the objectives set to the standards required, by leading by example with a Hands On Approach
• Attend meetings with external agencies to ensure resident’s needs are being met
• Responsible for co-ordinating resident’s holidays.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that residents are provided with nutritious meals which uphold the ethos of the House.
• Undertake personal support for residents as necessary.
• To demonstrate Empathy, Patience, Understanding, Warmth with a Caring attitude
